Today, was a SIX TOWN DAY!
Between Jared being in the district, Elena, and myself, we spent time in Erving, Orange, Greenfield, Royalston, Northfield, and South Hadley and partnered with Rep. Paul Mark, Rep. Susannah Whipps, and Rep. Dan Carey!
In ERVING, Jared met with the Select Board, Police and Fire Departments, and discussed some of the most pressing issues facing the town. I then had the honor of participating in a groundbreaking for their new library, along with Rep. Whipps!
In ORANGE, Jared met with town officials to hear about some of the difficult decisions they are having to make without enough money from the state for education funding.
In GREENFIELD, I joined the Opioid Task Force and Baystate Franklin’s CEO Ron Bryant to hear about the work they’re engaged in to deal with the opioid epidemic.
In ROYALSTON, Elena celebrated a 5th grade class’s DARE graduation at the Royalston Community School.
In NORTHFIELD, Rep. Mark and I attended a meeting of Northfield Area Progressives.
And in SOUTH HADLEY, I finished off my day with Rep. Carey, where we met with a group of constituents to talk about a broad range of issues.
