Senator Comerford’s team welcomes interns in both the district and State House offices.

Interns work on a variety of tasks including managing and tracking constituent contacts, researching legislation and constituent inquiries, drafting letters to state agencies and constituents, drafting social media communications, assisting with organizing events, tracking news and events in the Senator’s district, and more. On a small team, we couldn’t do the work we do without our interns!

Internships in our office are 10-20 hours per week and typically coincide with the fall, spring, and summer school sessions:

  • Spring internships run from early January through mid-May. We will begin reviewing applications for spring internships on December 1 and applicants will be notified by mid-December.
  • Summer internships run from early June through mid-August. We will begin reviewing applications for summer internships on March 1 and applicants will be notified by April 1.
  • Fall internships run from mid-September through mid-December. We will begin reviewing applications for fall internships on April 1 and applicants will be notified by May 1.
  • Which office would you like to intern in?
