Lauren Howard grew up on the South Shore. After graduating from Simmons university with her bachelor’s in political science and history, she started working in the Massachusetts State Senate in 2022 as a legislative aid and district director. Lauren left the State House to pursue a master’s in international relations, during which she traveled across the United States and Europe to research global reproductive health policies. Lauren is very excited to join Senator Comerford’s staff and to help support their work in the Hampshire, Franklin and Worcester district. As legislative aide, her work focuses on supporting constituents seeking assistance with government services.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys swimming, reading, and exploring historical sites around the state.
