Net Zero Building Code Briefing

June 26, 2019 @ 6:00 am - 7:00 am

A flyer that reads "Net Zero stretch energy building code briefing: How are building codes related to climate change? How can we better support our districts to make strides at increasing energy efficiency across the community? Come learn the answers to these questions and about S.1935/H.2865, An Act relative to a net zero stretch energy code on June 26"

Please join Representative Tami Gouveia, Senator Jo Comerford, and the Clean Energy Caucus for an informational panel discussing the development of a net zero stretch energy code.

Panelists will provide a breakdown of our current policies related to building codes and the Green Communities Act, explain how building codes and energy efficiency relate to climate change, address issues of cost, accessibility, and affordable housing, and share the positive impacts a net zero stretch energy code would have on climate change, consumer costs, and utilities.

Refreshments, coffee, and ample opportunity for questions will be provided.
