Joint Committee on Veterans and Federal Affairs Hearing

The Joint Committee on Veterans and Federal Affairs will hold a bill hearing on bills related to veteran and veteran family services, including the below bill filed by Senator Comerford. To view the full list of bills being heard, visit the hearing page.

We invite you to submit written testimony and/or testify in person on bills you care about. Testimony on bills in this hearing should be addressed to Joint Committee on Veterans and Federal Affairs Co-Chairs Senator John Velis and Representative Paul McMurtry.

Written testimony may be submitted via email to katie.verra@masenate.gov, and please copy Sen. Comerford (jo.comerford@masenate.gov). Please include the bill number and “Testimony” in the subject line of the email.

Registration is required for those who wish to present oral testimony during the live virtual hearing.  You can register to by completing this form https://forms.office.com/g/nywRfj3Bcq. Once you have registered, you will be given further instruction on how to join the hearing. The deadline to register for oral testimony is Wednesday, September 22 at 5:00 p.m. 

The Chairs will limit testimony to 3 minutes per speaker. Please be advised that the schedule and agenda are subject to change at the discretion of the chair per Committee rules.
