Special Joint Oversight Committee on the Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke COVID-19 Outbreak Hearing

The Special Committee will be holding a public hearing pertaining to the Board of Trustees of the Holyoke Soldiers’ Home, with live testimony (provided virtually) by invitation only. The hearing can be viewed at this link.
The hearing will be a general inquiry with medical experts and examine best practices for the operation of twenty four seven healthcare facilities. The committee seeks to understand how the similar institutions in the private sector operate. Examining the Holyoke Soldiers’ Home through this lens will allow the Special Committee to form recommendations in line with the rest of the industry.
The public is invited to submit written testimony. Testimony for this hearing should be addressed to the Joint Committee Co-Chairs Representative Linda Dean Campbell and Senator Michael Rush.
