Jo’s 2022 Library Tour – Pelham Free Public Library

Join Jo at the Pelham Free Public Library on Saturday, June 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This visit is part of Jo’s 2022 Library Tour which will feature visits to 15 libraries throughout the Hampshire, Franklin, Worcester district from June to September, 2022.

This tour is a continuation of Jo’s first library tour, which began in 2019, but ended prematurely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2019-2020 library tour included visits to libraries in Bernardston, Colrain, Gill, Erving, Leverett, Leyden, Montague, Northfield, Orange, Royalston, Shutesbury, Warwick, and Wendell. 

This tour will celebrate the vibrancy of our region’s libraries and the critical role they play in our communities, as gathering places, resources, introductions to literacy, and so much more, as well as the resilience of our librarians and library staff who have worked to support our communities throughout the pandemic.

Each visit will include opportunities for constituents to hear about Jo’s legislative work, ask questions, and join in conversation about pressing issues affecting their communities.

The Pelham Free Public Library is located at 2 South Valley Road in Pelham, Massachusetts.
