Ania Ruiz Borys graduated from Tufts University with a major in International Relations and a minor in Food Systems and Nutrition.
As a Mexican-Polish immigrant from a small town in South Texas, she grew up observing the differences around her, which shaped her passion for understanding the intersection between international relations, food systems, and public health. Ania’s experience in the medical, educational, and academic fields, together with her community work and time abroad, have pushed her to think about these intersections at political, socio-economic, and cultural levels.
After spending a year teaching English in Madrid, Spain, Ania returned to Boston to work with Senator Comerford’s office.
