DESCRIPTION:The Joint Committee on the Judiciary will hold a hearing on bills relative to privacy and protected classes\, including the below bills filed by Senator Comerford. You can view all bills on the hearing page. \n\n\n\nBill\nBill Title\nSponsor\n\n\n\n\nS.955\nAn Act prohibiting the use of public funds to pay awards\, fines or settlements in sexual harassment or assault cases\nJo Comerford\n\n\nS.956\nAn Act protecting LGBTQ victims\nJo Comerford\n\n\n\nWe invite you to submit written testimony and/or testify in person on bills you care about. Testimony on bills in this hearing should be addressed to Committee Co-Chairs Senator James Eldridge and Representative Michael Day. \nTo register to testify\, please complete and submit this form by 5:00 p.m. on Monday\, November 22. Once registered\, you will receive further instruction on how to participate. The Chairs will limit testimony to three minutes per individual and reserve the right to call public officials out of turn. Constituents planning to testify are encouraged to alert Sen.
