DESCRIPTION:The Joint Committee on the Election Laws will hold a bill hearing on the bills listed here\, including the following bills filed by Senator Comerford and a home rule petition for Wendell \n\n\n\nBill\nBill Title\nSponsor\n\n\n\n\nS.454\nAn Act limiting political spending by foreign-influenced corporations\nJo Comerford\n\n\nS.455\nAn Act relative to political contributions\nJo Comerford\n\n\nH.4061\nAn Act authorizing persons sixteen years of age or older to vote in town elections in the town of Wendell\nSusannah M. Whipps\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe invite you to submit written testimony and/or testify on bills you care about. Testimony on bills in this hearing should be addressed to Committee Co-Chairs Senator Barry Finegold and Representative Daniel Ryan. \n  \nIndividuals who wish to testify\, may sign up through this form. For individuals who have signed up to testify\, the committee will provide a link to join the public hearing. Individuals planning to testify must sign up no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday\, September 13\, 2021.
