DESCRIPTION:The Joint Committee on Public Service will hold a hearing (bills listed here)\, including the below bill co-sponsored by Senator Comerford and home rule petition for Deerfield. \n\n\n\nBill\nBill Title\nSponsor\n\n\n\n\nS.1791\nAn Act to provide a retirement enhancement opportunity for certain members of the Massachusetts Teachers Retirement System\nJohn C. Velis\n\n\nH.3988\nAn Act authorizing the town of Deerfield to continue the employment of police officer Gary Sibilia\nNatalie M. Blais\n\n\n\nWe invite you to submit written testimony and/or testify on bills you care about. Testimony on bills in this hearing should be addressed to Committee Co-Chairs Senator Michael Brady and Representative Kenneth Gordon. \nTo testify before the Committee\, participants must pre-register by clicking here to complete and submit the registration form.
